C_ISAM database server in a OSF/DCE environment.

Post by Rudy Van Landeghem SE1 » Fri, 05 Jan 1996 04:00:00

 Hello,

I've implemented a Objects Database server with the aid of C_ISAM 7.0
and OSF/DCE 1.0.3a.  The server is accessed through the RPC mechanism
and incomming requests are normally handled by seperate threads.

Now before enabling this multiple thread sceme, i need to know if the
C_ISAM library is thread safe or not. At the moment i still mutex lock
the whole server process before actually accessing the database files.
I obviously want to remove this sequential machanism to increase the
 throughput of my server.

Addresses to ask these kind of questions to are also welcome...
