There will be a "birds of a feather" get together for
Informix User's Groups at the Informix Conference next
Tuesday in San Jose from 4:30 to 6:30. This will be
a time for participants from various groups to meet
each other.

There is also some sort of happy hour the user group folks are invited to
with the InSync Partners.  I will find out more...

It wasn't explicitly stated, but I think people who read this newsgroup or
the mailing list should consider themselves part of a user group, sort of
the "User Group of the Net" perhaps :-).  Folks in this forum do many of
the same things as those in a more traditional geographically based group.

One scheduling note.  Paul said that the BOF session would be Tuesday
from 4:30 to 6:30, but the pre-release schedule lists 6:00 to 8:00 for
BOF's.  It might be wise to double-check the time when you get to the
Conference.

As you can probably tell, I will be making the trek to San Jose.  In my
absence, the primary system administrator at rmy.emory.edu will be watching
the mailing list and Usenet gateway.  Since he already has lots to do,
he may not be able to act right away if you send him a request or if a
message you post gets hung up for some reason.  If you have any problems
with the list or gateway, you should still send a message to

to him.

Hope to see some of you at the conference,

Walt.
