Bug in 7.2.2 for Digital UNIX possibly others

Post by Mike Sou » Sun, 31 Dec 1899 09:00:00

At least on my system using a streams connection to the database has
the following peculiarity.

Online is up and running using streams as the nettype.  an abnormal
shutdown, such as a power off will prevent the server from being
started in streams mode again, even after a power off.

The problem is due to flies that are left in the /INFORMIXTMP
directory.

This also occurs on Silicon Graphics systems with Informix 7.20,
possibly 7.22. We put code into the UNIX startup scripts to get
rid of the entries in /INFORMIXTMP.

Have you tried onmode -r to regenerate .infos file?
