When trying to use dbexport I received the following error message.

-922 - Cannot get name of current working directory.

I am working on a Sun box running IDS 7.3 and do have read permissions on
the directories that I was working in.

Can anyone tell me where I was going wrong or what the problem might be?

I have done this successfully on other Sun boxes with no problems.

This is a Unix problem with current working directory - does pwd work?  Did
you remount the filesystem or your system admin see anything?
To do an export you will need write access to create a directory.

My USER-ID is tsuto-o.

Regards.

1. dbexport problem, has anybody has this problem

Hi All

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Question: on Informix Dynamic Server 2000 Version 9.21.UC5 Solaris 2.8
...... ( a few blades
installed etc etc) ... Has anyone managed to successfuly dbexport a database
on this release..
and then successfully reimport it..... My dbexports just die.  no error
message in the online.log
or the dbexport.out... its just like the process dies a horrible death...

Does anyone know of any patches that fix this, or am I doing something silly

Thanx in advance

Leon
