Informix users - are they NT users?

Post by Eric R. Gavi » Sun, 31 Dec 1899 09:00:00

Hello,

We run Informix ODS7.23 on NT4.0 and this may seem like a simple question
but:

Does Informix get its "users" from NT's users database?  And it's passwords?
It would seem so, but the volumes of documentation never really come out and
say it.

This would be case as opposed to Informix managing a database of users and
passwords within itself.

Can somebody please help me with this very simple question?

Eric Gavin
