dbvalid and dbbackup when running multiple databases for SQL Anywhere

I am trying to configure a backup of my machine.  I need to validate
and backup each SQLAnywhere database before the tape backup runs.  I
am using a batch file to do all of this.  Unfortunately I'm not having
any success.  I cant get the individual databaes validated or backed
up.  The syntax I am using is dbvalid -c
"eng=name;dbn=name;uid=id;pwd=pwd;dbf=d:\path"
I've tried many different variations and can't figure it out.  If

Thanks,
Charles

Hi,

You may like to try using only one of the eng/dbn/dbf options in the
connection string. Which one you use depends on what you environment
and whether the database is already running etc.
