server cann't find client disconnect??

Hello,
    I use Sybase Adaptive Server 11.9.2 on AIX and develop application
with PowerBuilder. In general, application runs ok. If the application run
on somewhere, it appear connect to server failed message then quit but i
can find it connect successful on Sybase with sp_who procedure and it keep
alive for a long time. I must use kill to force it disconnect. Can anyone
tell
me what happed? Thanks!!
