I am trying to use the MS SQL Server clients from Windows 3.1 to talk
to MS SQL Server on NT. I want to do this using winsoc over IP.
Someone and some documentation that I read off the TechNet CD Rom
said that the 4.21 SQL Server upgrade programmers toolkit comes with
a net lib that will talk winsoc. We now have some disks for the
MS SQLServer Programmers Toolkit, which has various DB-Library for
Windows disks (2) (includes msdos and os2 according to the label
on the disk). But the only installation that I can find is DOS
based, and there do not seem to be any Netlibs there. Has anyone
managed Windows 3.1 (not wfwg) to talk ISQL over winsoc to MS Sqlserver
without using Sybase Net libs? Help please!
