were certainly helpful, but there were only five of them. Now the forests
are still diminishing as trees are turned to paper, and I've seen all those
stacks of greenbar, so I know there are more of you generating reports than
that!
Please folks, offer some guidance.

Can anyone offer offer their experience with reportwriters that work with
the following:
RdB Ingres Oracle
Sybase RMS ADABAS
Of particular interest to me would be answers to the following:
1. How did you justify to management spending the incremental $
on a 3rd-pty product when a report writer was already available
in the vendor's product?
2. Why did you choose the product you did?
3. Would you recommend this generator for use on a medium-sized net
with a mix of VAXen, workstations, and PCs?
4. What level of support do you get from your vendor?
5. Have you any other suggestions to offer?
