We have an Interactive Voice Respose (IVR) application that "does not do
Windows."  The IVR executes mainframe applications and reads the data
displayed on the screen with ease.  But, we are currently moving our data
to Sybase System 10 on a UNIX box.

I wonder if anyone has developed an application in DOS (e.g., Paradox 4.5
or FoxPro) that accesses a Sybase database.  If that is possible, then I
could develop a character-based DOS application that the IVR would execute,
continuing its "screen-scraping" ways.

I have not done one in Paradox or Foxpro, but I know a C program can....
