Remote SQL server upgrade

Hi y'all:

Has anybody ever perfomed the remote upgrade of the SQL server? I'm
sitting on NT and have a server in another city. Since I'm dead lazy to
just pack my things and go there, I wonder if setup can be run in the
command line mode, like the old 16-bit installations (for various other
software) that used to have a -c key to be run in the text shell. I'm
accessing that remote server through NT's Remote Command Service
(rclient, rsh, etc..) and we don't have pcAnywhere on that box.

Thanks

P.S. But if you think the whole idea is silly, I can still go to the
train, take this long boring exhausting ride, get lost in the strange
sity, and then, covered with dust and sweat finally arrive at the place,
morally dump and breathless

a solution could be to do it on VNC. This is a program that allows you
to grab the remote console (graphically) over a SSL connection...
(but you might have to go there to install it :-)

I have no idea, but I have done a ton of upgrades using pcanywhere and it
was relatively painless easy and I did not have to travel.
