I dont understand very well why i have this error when  I want to copy
data base table "Doss" into  a  file (exempl.txt)

my request in sqlserver 6.5 is :

bcp Doss out  c:\exemple.txt  /c /Uusername /Ppassword /Sserver

 I have this error:
Impossible to use the option OUTPUT while passing a constant with a
stored procedure.

Please if you can telle me what's wrong with this requet , Ill be very
glad and Ill thanks you very much.

I think that you have to give the name of the database in front of the
name of table.

1. Problems whith null terminatin on strings

When I use MFC ODBC connection to MS SQL 6.5 I have problems returning
strings and varchars.

On some tables when I do a select the string i get back does not get
null terminated and is filled whith spaces.

Then on other tables it is just fine.

Does anyone know what to do to get rid of those extra spaces.

if i got a varchar[32] field and i got "Test" stored in that field. Then
I get "Test                            " back.
