for our power users. We currently have Windows 98 as our de facto
desktop standard; however, recently  a small group of power users has
requested that we provide the "most reliable Microsoft desktop platform
available". With that criterion in mind, what is the consensus ? Is
Windows 98, or Windows NT 4 Workstation, more reliable and stable?
Please comment.

Not perfect mind you but NT is worlds better than Winblows any day.  It's
all I use anymore and gone are the goofy problems which were an everyday
occurrence with 95 and 98.  So I lose USB, AGP 3D and a few other minor
things.  It's worth the trade-off.
