It is a great add on to Windows.  It allow you to get rid or hide Icons
from the desktop that otherwise you could not hide (ea. Recicle Bin,
Network Neighborhood etc.). It also let you shut down the autorun uption
for the CD, empty the files like "run", "Documents" etc.  If you don't

bye, and God Bless You.

1. win2k performance tweaking / verbose booting / boot tweaks?

I'm trying to figure out how to speed up boot performance
on my win 2k.  Does anyone know of any boot optimizer /
analyzer programs like Bootvis for 2k?  Is there anyway
to get bootvis to work for win2k?  is this something
MS could do/provide?  (there are benefits to open source,
I see).

I can't even find a bootlog like was under win98 --
all I've seen is the 'nogui' option that lists out the
drivers as they are loaded into memory -- but nothing
after that while they initialize.

I get bored with throbbing pictures.

Thanks IA...
