Database Administrator to manage and support relational database environment.
Duties will include conversion and migration efforts when necessary. Configure,
tune and maintain DBMS servers. Install and manage upgrades to DBMS products.
Assist development in application performance tuning and optimal DBMS design.
Develop and implement processes to assure recoverability and integrity of the
relational environment. Manage database security. Must have skills include:
Database and Server Administration. (Oracle and Ingres preferred), Unix O/S and
shell programming, Performance tuning and query optimization.
