Description: Aetea Information Technology, formerly Spectrum Concepts, is looking for a Senior Oracle consultant to work on-site at one of our most prestigious clients in the King of Prussia, PA area. The project is immediate and is approximately 1 year in length.
Required Skills:

BS Comp Sci/Engineering or similar. 7+ years work experience required in this field.
LEAD DBA: Oracle DBA, programming experience with some experience developing client/server based applications. Logical data modeling experience. Experience developing and designing web based applications. Customer-focused, strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills. Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities, resources, goals and project initiatives. Project management and planning skills. Good problem-solving skills. Pharmaceutical in a FDA validated environment is a requirement, Clinical Trial would be ok too.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with application teams to provide application design, logical data modeling, physical data modeling and implementation for Oracle 7,8.0,8.1 databases. Experience with Full System Life Cycle Development Methodology in FDA validated applications. Project management of Database related initiatives. Provide 24X7 support for databases in UNIX environments(HP&Sun). UNIX Shell scripting (Korn or Perl) for DBA monitoring scripts. Experience w/ Quest tools and OEM.
