Technical Skills:   Certified Oracle DBA with 5+ years experience with Oracle version 7.3  8.x  9i.OEM  PL/SQL and
SQLPLUS in a HP-UX  VMS and NT environment. Soft Skills:   Must have good written and *communication skills.  Must
be customer focused and willing to work with others.  Must be well organized and able to work well with all levels.  
Duties:   Support Oracle versions ranging from 7.3  2 thru 9i on HP-UX  SUN  SGI  VMS and Windows platform. Job
Responsibilities:   Will be the primary database admin supporting several databases on HP-UX  VMS and NT systems.
Responsibilities will include software installation  upgrades  patches  database maintenance  performance and tuning
backup and recovery  security and disaster recovery.  Will also be part of a team of professional supporting the IT
infrastructure.  Work closely with appli cation developers and system administrators. Several databases will reside in
Basel.  Position may require 10 travel in the future. Local candidates only.  No third party except Top Echelon.  No
