1. How to load a flat file load into a MS OLAP Cube
Hi All
I have a requirement to load data into OLAP cubes coming from Flat
files. I have now built a solution to load the flat files into SQL
Server as a staging table and from where I am loading the cubes.
Sometimes this is cumbersome I attempted loading files from a flat
file but appears not to work can any of you please throw some light
how I can load from a flat file what type of data source to setup for
Analysis services to access a flat file data source. I also attempted
setting up a flatfile linked server and loading from it the
performance appears not to be good with this. Appreciate your help on
this I desperately need a solution for this problem.
