Is there anyone who has succesfully connected DEVELOPER 2000/FORMS 4.5
to the Personal Oracle Database?
If so please e-mail me to:

I am not able to connect ;
my Personal Oracle database is up;
I started developer 2000 forms Generator;
username:scott
password:tiger
database:        (left blank per intructions; then tried 2:)
doesn't work;
checked my path for \orawin\bin;
checked win95.rgs file in bin;
nothing works;
increased my memory from 8 mb to 32 mb;
still it does not work;
I am using windows 95; not in client-server mode;
just trying to connect to Local database;
I get the error:  ora-12203:TNS:unable to connect to destination.
If any one has succeded in connecting Developer 2000 forms 4.5 to local
personal oracle database,
please let me know how you did it.

Hi

The 12203 usually means that oracle cannot figure out where you are
trying to connect to.

Have you installed and set up SQL*NET on you PC. (And set an alias to
point at your local database - usually ORCL on Host 2:)
