JOB DESCRIPTION: Create proof-of-concept monitoring/performance management for
web-hosting applications/middleware.Manage project to set up application and
middleware monitoring and performance management in a web-hosting environment.
Gather requirements, identify tools, test, implement and deploy all
applications. Work with local core team.
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 6-12 months
SKILLS REQUIRED: Project management. Leadership Capacity planning and
performance management. Requirements gathering and analysis. Use of Microsoft
Project. Knowledge on application/middleware: net.commerce, UDB, Oracle etc.
Knowledge of distributed server platform: RS/6000, Sun, NT.
DESIRABLE SKILLS: Must be able to lead in a team environment, team is both
local and remote. Deliver excellent project management disciplines.
Understanding of e-business application framework further to the capacity
planning - high level knowledge on distributed server platforms.
