Graphical User Interface / Web Developer Become a key member of the team
working on: Client dashboard views of summary data for business decision making
Graphical displays of business results Web based applications to allow
maintenance of customer data Web driven data warehouse reporting and the tools
needed to further enhance and develop our analytical capability. All of this is
being done in a thin-client, three tier application environment based on
Sun/Oracle as the back end server. This position gives an excellent overall
view of the system and is highly visible since it is the direct interface to
our customers. It allows the qualified candidate a chance to not only drive
three tier application development, but also gives them a view into the domain
of logistics and inventory management. Excellent teamwork and communication
skills required. This is a team environment across not only the development
group, but our Client and Client Operations staff. Required: Solid foundation
in object oriented programming and developing database applications. Experience
with three tier application servers (Kiva, WebLogic, Oracle Apps. Server)
You've developed a significant 3-tier application solution You know how to
design and work with CORBA objects 3+ years developing user interfaces for a
Windows user base. Substantive experience in C++ or JAVA is a must. Previous
experience developing client/server solutions against an Oracle database. B.S.
in Computer Science or similar experience. Desirable: Experience with XML
Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL Experience designing and
developing Application Programming Interfaces. Familiarity with Sun Solaris or
Unix.
