D.C., Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Munich, Paris and Sydney.
Participates in large, or leads small implementation assignments to support the
business objectives of sales, marketing, and service professionals. Interacts
with client project and end-user management, such as I/S project manager,
Regional Sales VPs, Sales Manager, etc. Supports the sales process by
participating in the development of proposals and the identification of new
opportunities in accounts. Leads and mentors consultants and associates
consultants. Specific responsibilities: Sales Support:
Supports the development of consulting proposals. Identifies follow-on sales
opportunities in accounts and alerts engagement manager. Project Management and
Delivery: Leads business and technical requirements analysis activities.
Responsible for project task deliverables, with high levels of quality and
customer satisfaction. Manages junior staff as part of project tasks. Perceived
as content experts in certain subject areas, such as configuration,
architecture, telephony, etc. Deliver tasks to, or under, timeline and budget
requirements. Participates in customer satisfaction and project post-mortem
audits. Client Interaction: Works daily with customer project teams and
end-user staff. Presents project task deliverables to customer project manager.
Practice Development: Interview & recruit staff. Participate in the development
of methodologies, approaches, & models. Contribute to practice knowledge base.
Mentor junior professional services staff. Requirements: 5+ years in the
information systems or consulting field required. BS in Computer Science or
Mathematics required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Technical skills, such
as Visual Basic, C++, UNIX, Windows NT, Oracle/Sybase, required. Ability to
travel required. Understanding of technical architectures, including RDBMS,
client-server, mobile computing, call centers a plus.
Travel Required :25% or less
Educational Requirements :Bachelors Degree
Preferred Degree :Computer Science or Mathematics required
