Skills/Experience:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Masters degree is a plus. In some cases, experience may be substituted for
education.</font></p>
<font face='Trebuchet MS, Arial, sans-serif'>Experience in UNIX and/or NT
operating systems, computer networking, and database systems (such as Oracle,
Sybase, Lotus Notes). Sybase experience for the development and support of
Sybase applications, including Power J, in both UNIX and NT environments.
</font></p>
<font face='Trebuchet MS, Arial, sans-serif'><i>Applicants selected will be
subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information.</i></font></p>
<font face='Trebuchet MS, Arial, sans-serif'>Desired Skills/Experience:Ability
to integrate Lotus Notes and Sybase products would be a plus.</font></p>
<font face='Trebuchet MS, Arial, sans-serif'>Position Summary:<i> Applications
Development.</i>Work with users to develop/refine requirements. Design, write
and test application, databases, and procedures in accordance with established
policies and standards. Document applications, databases, and procedures in
accordance with established policies and standards. Recommend methods to
improve database performance. Train customers in the use of applications.
<i>Life-Cycle Support:</i> Provide life-cycle support of applications,
databases, procedures, and documentation. <i>Standards Development:</i> Assist
the standards group in defining database and application standards.</font></p> -
