Not to plug any particular book, but I have found
ORACLE Desk Reference
The Professional's Companion
by Guy Harrison
( Published by Prentice Hall PTR ( www.phptr.com) ( ISBN 0-13-013294-2 )
to be the best quick reference I have ever used...
It covers 7,8,and 8i and is not limited to Sql - It covers most aspects of Oracle usage ( DDL,DML,Sql,Pl/Sql,Java, etc)
>Back in the 'good old days' of 7.1, Oracle produced a small booklet as part
>of its documentation set. This basically had all the syntax diagrams for
>the 7.1.X release in a small booklet and was the most useful Oracle
>reference book, although I can't remember what it was called! Since then,
>Oracle has stopped producing it.
>Does anyone know if this information exists in a booklet or file somewhere
>for 8i or 9i?
