I have been asked to identify an Independent Consultant Oracle V8 DBA
with strong PL/SQL, Financial applications experience and clear English
speaking skills to be the "Michael Jordan" of Oracle DBA's on this long term
Financial project that is behind schedule because of the other DBA's lack of
Financial applications understanding. The project, good for a DBA who is on the
verge of becoming an Data Architect is on Long Island, New York offering an
initial four month+ contract with a flexible starting rate, in the $800 per day
range, depending on experience, and an additional $400 per day of paid
overtime available for a daily total of $1200 per day possible, to help turn
this implementation around, plus expenses including four nights of housing and
trips home. Your asking rate will be submitted, after your approval.
