by Our direct client, a .com company located in Austin, Texas seeks one
contract DBA. Client is currently on SQL Server 7.0 and is migrating to
Oracle 8.0. Ideal candidate must have some hands-on experience with
both SQL and Oracle and have done a migration in the past.
Responsibilities include maintenance of the database, tuning,
replications and working with Oracle Fail Safe. Client is interviewing
and hiring immediately. Contract duration is approximately 3 months.
