Title: Oracle Financial Rate/Salary: $90K Type: Permanent
Description: This position will join a team responsible for the Universitys
financial systems. Position requires significant experience with Oracle, Oracle
tools, Unix scripts, SQL, PL/SQL, as well as experience with Oracle Financials.
Duties: Handle technical & functional analysis dealing directly with clients of
information processing & management systems; devises or modifies procedures to
solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations.
Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
Has full knowledge of all phases of application systems, programming and
performance.
Duties: Position #2 Continued Qualifications: Programmer Analyst: BA/BS; minimum
2 years progressively responsible experience within administrative computing
environment; excellent analytical skills; detailed knowledge of database design
and with relational technology, specifically Oracle highly desired; Experience
with UNIX text editor, Korn shell scripts, SQL,PL/SQL and SQL*plus and
experience with Oracle required. Experience with Oracle forms, reports and data
warehousing a plus. Experience with Oracle Financials highly desired. Excellent
verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated
planning and organizational skills; working knowledge of project management
software and desktop tools as well as web technology desired.
