Our client, a well-established global manufacturer, has an immediate
opening in its state-of-the-art Information Technology Division for a
(Senior) Web Developer and Site Analyst who demonstrates excellent Web
development and analysis skills, has good communication skills and is

plan.ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:This position reports to the
Director of Web Development and is responsible for developing new Web
applications as well as maintaining existing Web site/applications. *
Analyze business problems; determine internet-related requirements and
design/implement web solutions.* Develop and program Java  applications
that include JSPs, servlets, and beans using IBM WebSphere Application
Developer 4.0; deploying to a WAS Application server and a MS SQL Web
database; following J2EE standards, MVC architecture and design
patterns.* Interface with and assist content contributors and update and
design Web pages.* Share site monitoring tasks (WebTrends).* Share site
management tasks (registration, search engine submission, keyword
ranking...).* Some server administration duties (IIS, IBM http,
WebSphere, MS SQL).REQUIREMENTS:* BS/MS in Computer Science, Related
Field, or Equivalent Experience.* 3-5 years in Java e-Commerce
application(s) in a team and Window (NT or 2000) environment.* 2-3 years
in Web site (structure and pages) development* 5-7 years in
Client/Server computing and/or object oriented programming (OOP).* 1-2
years in site management (meta tags, registration/, secure search engine
ranking, traffic analysis).* 1-2 year in customer/content contributor
interface in a multiple sta keholder environment.* Expertise in business
information requirements analysis and systems design* Expertise in
relational database analysis, design, and developmentPREFERRED
EXPERIENCE:* Expertise in Java e-Commerce, SCM, e-Procurement and portal
application architectural design.* Relational database administration
(MS SQL, DB2, or Oracle) experience.* Expertise in artwork/Web graphic
design.* Additional background in business, manufacturing or marketing.*
Experience in Web-enabling Lotus Domino databases.* Experience in
software development life cycle, UML, modeling tools, and project
management.* Sun Micro's SCJP or SCJD certification is a plus.NO
