1. US-TX-DFW BUSINESS ANALYST / SYSTEM ANALYST - write systems specifications - database relational theory - flowcharting - IRVING, TX

Business Analyst / System Analyst - Irving, TX
$50,000 to $75,000 per year
    plus 8% bonus, paid quarterly

    350 person company, 65 person Information Technology Department
Responsibilities:
-Write specifications for systems projects.
-Work with assigned areas (departmental managers and staff) to analyze
processing and system improvements including: flowcharting, project
analysis, developing system specifications and required documents,
completing project forms and assisting users in developing report formats.
-Act as project manager on all major (large projects, cross departmental
projects, highly visible projects) systems related projects including:
completing and updating cost benefit analysis, conceptual systems design and
monitoring and reporting status.
-Facilitate group discussions regarding current systems, proposed systems
and operational changes.
-Keep users and management updated on the status of projects on a regular
basis.
-Keep manager updated on all projects, problems and issues on a regular
basis.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree
-3-5 years business analyst experience, a background in working with
methodologies to perform systems projects/tasks and an understanding of
business and information processing evaluation techniques.
-Experience writing systems specifications.
-Express ideas effectively
-Maintain stable performance under pressure
-Strong analysis/problem assessment
-Strong organizational/work management skills
-Work effectively with team/work group

Preferred:
-MBA
-7+ years experience.  Exposure to database and relational theory,
experience with developing graphical user interfaces and business process
reengineering
