Job Description

In-depth functional knowledge in one or more specific business areas:
Manufacture/Planning, Procurement, Order Mgmt, Finance. Oracle
Application skills. Previous experience implementing Oracle applications
OR Previous ERP implementation experience is highly desirable.
Multi-functional experience, especially demonstrated success in
cross-platform/cross-vendors integration projects. Business-oriented
systems consultant with over 8-10 years of manufacturing and service
consulting experience. Previous industry leadership positions held
include Project Management Specialist, Operations Project Manager,
Production  and  Inventory Control Manager, Master Scheduler, and Senior
Consultant. Has a proven track record with successful program management
of enterprise systems selection and implementation projects in
manufacturing, distribution, and warehousing environments. Has in-depth
understanding of integrated manufacturing, distribution, customer
relationship management and accounting systems experience. Experienced
Supply Chain professional. Has held leadership positions in Operations
and Technology including Warehouse Distribution Manager, Traffic
Manager, Finished Goods Supervisor, Business Manager and Senior Business
Analyst. MIS, warehousing, materials management and procurement. Supply
Chain Planning Areas of Expertise, Demand Planning, Advanced Planning
and  Scheduling, Forecasting and Collaborative Planning, Procurement,
Vendor Managed Inventory, Postponement, Replenishment. Background should
include one of the following: Developing and delivering business process
and information system solutions in manufacturing industries. Background
should include both information systems consulting and hands-on business
operations. Previous consulting experience that spans a wide variety of
selection, implementation, design/development and process improvement
projects for customer service, manufacturing, distribution and financial
applications. Good to Have. Either member of or enrolled with the
Project Management Institute and is currently pursuing project
management professional (PMP) certification. Professional affiliations
include membership in the American Production and Inventory Control
Society (APICS), as well as, a Certification in Production and Inventory
Management (CPIM). Frequent speaker on integrated systems strategies and
is identified as a leading authority on package selection and
implementation projects Performs individual assignments associated with
the design, support, maintenance, deployment of applications, and
management of the information systems, products and services that
support the internal operations. Provides information technology
solutions and services in the design, development, modification,
implementation and maintenance of cost effective business solutions
infrastructure. Utilizes technologies and techniques to deliver business
results. Delivers quality improvements, root-cause analysis. May be
responsible for coordination of outsourcing and vendor management
activities.

Qualifications

You will need to be educated to at least university degree level, have
post-graduate/ certification/license, and have at least 12 years'
practical experience. This is where your expertise, influence and
solutions-oriented approach will make an impact.
