Duties Design and develop backend services for a new class of
enterprise-quality internet applications Work with front-end developers to
gather requirements, design, and implement an internet-scalable (millions of
users) server application Skills and Experience At least 5 years general of
software development and design, preferably in an OO environment (Java, C++, or
Smalltalk) Experience in distributed enterprise technologies (RMI, CORBA, DCOM,
etc.) or internet environments required Two or more of the following:
Transaction processing (e.g., CICS, TopEnd, Tuxedo, Encina); Messaging
(queueing (MQ Series, DMQ) and pub/sub (TIB, etc.); Relational databases
(Oracle) Java 2 Enterprise Edition experience (EJB, Servlets, JMS, RMI,
preferably using WebLogic Application Server) highly desirable
