OK, it is old, obsolete, etc.
I have a lab need for 7.3.3. server on HP_UX to recreate (hopefully) a
customer's problem.
Oracle tell me "no deal, it's desupported and obsolete".
Is there ANYWHERE that I can get a distribution of this version ?

How about from your customer? Don't they have the original installation CD
or tape?

Otherwise you will need to find someone just as obsolete as they are.
Perhaps the Oracle sales reps in your area will know who is still running
antique software.

I might have it available.

Possibly, although;
a)  They are overseas
b)  It might be a bit insensitive to ask them for it.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Maybe, though I'd doubt they'll recommend another customer as a potential
bootleg outlet (-:

Obviously, it wouldn't be a problem if they had a support contract.

There are no support contracts available for  ANY  Oracle 7.3.3.  products.
We are just trying to create a lab environment as close as possible to that of
the customer.
It is possible/likely that the problem we are investigating is NOT a database
problem, we are aware of that.

If possible, you may want to ask them to TAR up their ORACLE_HOME
directory and send it to you.  All you have to do is re-create the
directory structure and un-TAR.

Hope this helps.
