Kinetics, a rapidly growing global high-purity mechanical contractor based in
Santa Clara, CA, and now a public company, seeks help to assist in ORACLE
systems implementation and later, systems maintenance. We are replacing our
systems to build a model for the rest of the corporation and seek talented
individuals to meet both our standards for performance and timeliness:
Help Desk Specialist -
Duties: to function as primary point of contact for Corporate computer
end-users. Identify and resolve hardware, application and network problems and
provide first level network administration support. Assist the other
Specialists and PC Technicians in configuring, installing and troubleshooting
PC hardware. Dispatch/route unresolved calls to appropriate second level
support, make critical escalation decisions.
Minimum Qualifications: 3 years' customer service telephone support
history; experience handling multiple telephone lines, developed ability to
manage up to 30 problem calls per day; excellent communication and diplomatic
skills; demonstrable, well-developed time management ability; intermediate
level skills in WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Access, MS-Exchange, MS-Outlook,
Windows '95 & NT, MS Internet Explorer, NOVELL and MS NT networks, and PC and
lap[top configuration and troubleshooting. Experience in Telephony and telecom
Salary: DOE, negotiable.
Regular working hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays.
