Job Description:
AST Corporation is a fast growing software services company
specializing in Oracle Applications implementations and upgrade. We
also develop proprietary software, tools and methodology specific to
Oracle Applications projects that help us speed up the implementation
and upgrade projects and distinguish us from the competition.
We currently have openings for Functional Consultants with 2 or more
years of experience with implementation and upgrade of Oracle
Financial Applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functional Consultants will be responsible for determining business
requirements in consultation with the clients for new implementations
and upgrade projects. He/she will then map these requirements into
Oracle Applications features; identifying gaps and design
customizations and/or business processes to resolve the gaps. They
will also be required to provide project planning and coordination
tasks, training and knowledge transfer to client personnel.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
----------------
- 2+ Years of experience with Oracle Financials
- In-depth knowledge of Project Accounting (Billing and Costing)
- At least two implementation/upgrade projects
- Experience with Oracle Applications Rel 11i
- Experience with Project Planning & Management
- Good communication and people skills
- 4Year/BS degree in Business,Finance,Accounting,MIS
OPTIONAL/ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

- Experience with Self Service Applications
- Experience with Oracle Workflow
- Oracle's AIM methodology
- Experience with Oracle Public Sector Apps
- Experience with presenting papers at user conferences
- Knowledge of query tools (Discoverer, Toad)
