Responsibilities: This Business Unit Manager will focus on services oriented
toward Internet, intranet, & extranet-based business applications, frequently
as a front-end to ERP packages. Services include but are not limited to:
*Web app. development & app. customization.
*Implementation & customization of third party business-to-business &
business-to-customer web storefronts & procurement solutions.
*Implementation & customization of third party employee self-service, customer
self-service, & manager self-service applications.
*Virtual organizations (outsourced solutions).
The Business Unit Manager will report to the National Director of Development
Services, & will be responsible for the following activities within his/her
business unit:
*New service development & delivery
*Sales support for related proposals, bids, & estimates
*Project staffing
*Resource recruiting, planning, & scheduling
*Account / project mngmt.
*Customer satisfaction
*Employee evaluation
*Employee career development planning
*Achievement of financial goals & business metrics
*Alliance management
*Support for overall development initiatives (marketing, PR, training,
administration, etc. )
*Development of tools & enabling technologies
Travel is required
Qualified candidates will possess the following exp.:
*Minimum of 10 years of business exp.
*Minimum of 5 years of IT-related exp.
*Minimum of 3 years consulting exp. with various middleware & ERP packages
(especially SAP & Oracle)
*Managed projects of five or more people using current tools & methods
*Web dev. tools & third party web apps.
*Middleware & messaging solutions
Travel Required :None
Educational Requirements :Bachelors Degree
Preferred Degree :CS, Engineering, or related discipline
