Title: Lead Business Analyst Rate/Salary: $85 K Type:Permanent
Description: Provide guidance and assistance to project managers with the
analysis and design (modeling) efforts in their projects.
Responsible for the collection and integration of the project -modeling efforts
into the Corporate Business Model. As the project teams create new models for
their business domains, integrate the information into the overall Corporate
model. Publish the Corporate Business Model when the changes occur. Manage the
development and maintenance of the models that support the Corporate
Architecture Framework.Help model the Corporate Architectural Framework and make
sure the models are updated as the relevant information changes. Be aware of
business and technical changes that can effect the architectural model. Use this
awareness to guide the changes that will be made to the model of the
architectural framework.As the use of modeling and other rigorous methods for
the collection of system information increase, assist project teams with their
efforts wherever appropriate. Coordinate the modeling efforts across the
organization.
Duties: Must have good interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of OO
Modeling Tools and OO Analysis and design processes. Experience in
Insurance/Reinsurance processing systems preferred. Knowledge of Unified
Modeling Language, OMT, Booch, or other OO modeling language. Some previous
experience building and maintaining large-scale software systems. Ability to
generalize and perform abstraction to view multiple IT efforts as the sum of
their parts. Experience managing the phases of the development effort. .
Must Have: Insurance exp., UML/OMT/Booch, large scale S/W exp., Obj. Oriented
Analysis & Design Nice to Have:
