Does anyone know how to execute DDL
commands in PL/SQL?
I am trying to use a stored procedure to
delete all the constraints on a temporary
table. I have function to return the
constraint_name. Now, I want to:
ALTER TABLE table_name
DROP CONSTRAINT constraint_name
However, since I am using a DDL command
(ie. like create table) instead of a
DML command (ie. Select, Insert, Update),
the procedure won't execute.
Is there a way to do DML commands in some kind
of procedure or script?
Is there another way to do the intended result?
