This contract is for development services our client's Configuration Management
System (CMS). CMS is an effort to create a 'shell' to encode and automate
ground network software planning, development, test, and delivery activities in
accordance with the Life Cycle Process. The overall goals and architecture of
CMS has already been created. The contractor 7 will do analysis, detailed
design, and implementation of additional functionality 7 will document
additional functionality and produce additional documentation as necessary 7
will deploy new versions of ICMS 7 will support the ICMS system after
deployment The contractor will be required to interface with the developers
from the application development and infrastructure groups, the Integration and
Test group, and the Satellite Control Center. 7 Experience with Configuration
Management Systems (CVS and RCS preferred, 3+ years of experience with Object
Oriented Perl (perl5), 5+ years of experience with Unix, Attention to detail
and ability to manage detail, Ability to express ideas clearly in written and
*communications, Ability to work take direction but work independently
<font color='#0000FF'>Desired Qualifications</font> The following
qualifications while considered desirable are not essential: 7 Knowledge of
satellite telemetry and commanding systems 7 Experience with design and
development with relational databases, preferably Oracle 7 Experience in
testing and deployment of large scale software systems 7 Knowledge of client
server, object oriented design, and development techniques 7 Knowledge of C++ 7
Knowledge of Java
