Description:   Aetea Information Technology, formerly Spectrum Concepts, is looking for a senior level Oracle specialist, with the following specific experience to work on-site at one of our most prestigious clients in a Philadelphia suburb.
Our client, a leader in the Pharmaceutical industry, is looking for someone with the following:
Three to five years experience in the development of information systems, one to three years experience in Oracle, SQL, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products, one to three years experience supporting clinical or vaccine trials.  Specific knowledge of clinical pharmacology trials a plus.
- Excellent communication skills - especially with medical and data management personnel.
- Excellent project management skills
- Proven ability to deliver IS systems within budget, with specified
- timeframe.
- Proven ability to deliver IS systems in a regulated environment.
Desired Skills: Scientific, medical knowledge, and testing methodologies.
Project Description:
The candidate will be responsible for configuring base application software to implement the design of clinical pharmacology trial protocols/worksheets on physical collectors.
The candidate will be interfacing with, and gather specifications from, multiple business units in the implementation of the clinical trial collector. Candidate will plan and facilitate design meeting with our clients, configure the clinical trial collector in accordance with documented standard operating procedures and lead the project from development through post-production support.  The candidate will rotate through assignments as business analyst, technical developer, tester, trainer, procedure developer and support.  
The candidate will be responsible for full systems life cycle implementation of this collector in accordance with standard operating procedures and departmental processes.  The candidate must possess the ability to lead multiple on-going critical activities, work in a process oriented environment, manage their progress within tight timeframes, and be able to work independently in addition to contributing as part of a larger team.
LENGTH:
One Year.
