Job Title: Software Release Engineer / Build Manager, Release Integration
Group Job Location: San Jose, California Responsibilities: Responsible for
administering Continuous CM source control system Responsible for writing build
scripts, makefiles, and automated test scripts Manage release processes of our
commercial software products Assist engineers with configuration management and
build related issues Coordinate release rollout process, triage bugs or
problems encountered during release process Define and implement build
processes Ensure solid builds during all phases of a software release Work in
Continuus environment for build or problem tracking Qualifications: B.S. in
Computer Science, Information System, or Engineering. Must have minimum of 2-3
years experience in software industry working on developing commercial
applications Minimum 1 year programming experience in Java and/or C++ Minimum
1-2 years experience with team-based source code control processes/systems such
as ClearCase or Continuus CM (MS Visual Source Safe is acceptable) Experience
with Continuus Configuration Manager a big plus. Familiarity with RDBMS
technologies such as Oracle or Sybase a plus Track record of delivering
projects on time and meeting quality/performance standards Experience with
installation tools such as InstallShield or InstallShield Java edition a plus.
