Ho to speed up paradox-tables in network

Post by Stefan Kirc » Tue, 21 May 1996 04:00:00

Hello to everyone!

Our client work over a ISDN-connection on a WinNT-Server and
uses the Paradox-Tables on this Server on a drive K:
The problem is the very slow speed. Yes I know, SQL- would be
better, channel bundling is good and so on. But:

Is there another good hint for speeding up such a network
connection? Can we modify some parameter inside the BDECFG.EXE
on the Paradox-page? Is there a way to use a bigger local share?

PLEASE ANSWER ANY HINT OR IDEA!!!!!!!!!

Thanx a lot

  Steff

I'm trying to make an app which accesses a ACCESS database. I keep getting a
type not defined error.

I used the database app wizard.

Private Sub datPrimaryRS_MoveComplete(ByVal adReason As
ADODB.EventReasonEnum, ByVal pError As ADODB.Error, adStatus As
ADODB.EventStatusEnum, ByVal pRecordset As ADODB.Recordset)

How can I solve this problem.

Many thanks
