Gupta/Centura SQLBase and Borland's BDE via ODBC

Post by DD!nformati » Wed, 19 Mar 1997 04:00:00

Could someone please answer some of the following questions?

1. How can we access a Gupta/Centura SQLBase Database (located on a
Windows 95 machine) from the Borland Database Engine via ODBC?

2. What parameters should we use in the SQLBase ODBC setup? i.e.
ServerName, Server Lists, etc. etc.

Thanks in advance.

Why do you want to use Gupta/Centura SQL-base. We tested it here for a long
time and you'll probably won't find another database which is so instable,
buggy and slow. Try Interbase. It's much better.
