Does anybody know how to start java based
Oracle 8 tools ( like Sql-Net Config) on a NT 4 Workstation Servicepack 3.
The tools starts java.exe, takes 100% cpu time and
do not run.
The problem may be caused by a wrong mfc-dll or
somthing else.
I don't know.
On my pc there is Symantec Cafe with Java 1.1 and also the sun java lib.
I know ,that i do not have to use this tools but
other people do.
The problem occurs on my machine and
on a pc of a friend who is Oracle dealer.
He has only a standard NT Installation
He say's: as long Oracle 8.05 do not allow
the tools to start he cannot recomend this
version to his customers.
He still keep Oracle 7.3.
It would be fine to get a answer from a Oracle Profi.
TIA
