I am trying to figure out a way to create a new database record,
but take the contents from an existing record and populate the new form.
I have a sql query in Access 2000, but i am unable to find any copy
feature in VB 6

1. Script to copy data from one existing column to a new column in another existing table

I am trying to find a way to copy the data of a column from an
existing table to another newly created column on another existing
table in DB2, without coding the logic into the existing code since
this migration is only an one-time affair. Is there any way to achieve
this migration through the use of some DB2 scripts, and creating some
logic in the scripts to carry out this migration?
