Buggy SQL Links

Well, people!

So SQL Links is buggy? Maybe the bugs in SQL links are those
that make an update or insert to TEXT Fields in MS SQL Server to simply
lock the app? That's what happens to me with native drivers. It does not
happen witn ODBC32 drivers for MS SQL.

It's ridiculous: I have to use ODBC against my MS SQL Database with
Delphi 2.0 C/S!!! Are these SQL Links bugs corrected with this $10 update?

Thanks,

Daniel.

I've not had any problems like your having. I have found a memory leak in
the new SQL Links and Borland acknowledged it and said it was one of the
bugs fixed in the update. Could you send me a code example and a SQL
script for the tables you are having the problems with? I'd be more than
happy to look at it and see if I can reproduce the problem.

1. T-SQL Debugger buggy???

Hi everyone,

We use ADO 2.1, MSSQL 7.0 SP2, and VB6 SP3 and the most important, we use
stored procedures with numbers

e.g.    CLIENT;1
          CLIENT;2

Does anyone have ever succesfully called a sp named like CLIENT;2 with T-SQL
Debugger?

If yes please let me know by email.

TIA

Eric
