If you really need a record number, there are several methods that
have been used successfully. Just what do you need it for? Would a
count of all records do the job? If you need to return to a particular
record, for example, a bookmark should do the trick.

I have to establish data exchange from MSSQL server to other in XML sending
it by HTTP protocol.(on IIS5). Can somebody advise me, if is it possible
