I don't think it is LEGAL and I know it has nothing to do with
Access.  So, I say everyone send a core dump to this guy and

I want to keep this off the net just as much as you, maybe more. That's
why I sent a cancel message to delete it. Look- It's not there anymore.
I know this sounds kinda hypocratic, but don't follow up to these things.

This message will be cancelled (self-destruct) in two days. I would
appreciate it if all the other angry followup posters would delete their
messages too.

It's best to just e-mail the offender, Cc:'d to the postmaster, instead
of wasting *yet more* bandwidth arguing about it.

because of the way you presented your objection. Your language has no place

It is unbeleavable that people in the computing industry; suposedly educated
professionals, or students wanting to join our ranks, cannot express
themselves well enough to avoid the language used by this person. Foul
language is usually an indication of a lack of education: a person who has
no other way of expressing themselves. And, to top it off, he doesn't even
know how to release the caps lock key. All caps should only be needed to
provide a bold look to a short phrase; using it for the entire message
defeats the purpose, as it doesn't draw your attention to the important
part, like this does: DON'T USE THAT LANGUAGE HERE AGAIN!!

I just have to post a comment on something scary that happened to me.  
I received a horrible SPAM-like message akin to this one via an
unmoderated computer discussion list.  At the end, the poster said, "I
have posted anonymously because of the flames and all that."

This strikes me as a uniquely evil twist that anyone with the talent to
anonymously send email would put it in service of this kind of thing.  
What sort of people are on the net these days and have they no honor?

When you post to a newsgroup, consider this:  quite possibly, ten thousand
people all around the world -- literally -- are listening to you.  Who knows,
your future employer might be listening.  Anyway, you're stepping up to the
podium in Carnegie Hall, and the room is full of people, the spotlight is
turned up, and you are going to say ... what?

The more carefully and thoughtfully you compose what you're going to say,
before you open your mouth, the more likely it is your words will be listened
to and respected.  But if you "mouth off," so to speak, and even when you
reply to someone who is "mouthing," I assure you that you will indeed make a
lasting impression.  Probably not the one you wanted, and probably beyond
repair.

The Internet is not to be taken lightly.
