Visual Basic 4.0 App Access 95 to 97

Post by Alastair Holme » Sat, 14 Oct 2000 04:00:00

Hello,
I have an application written in Visual Basic 4.0.  Currently it uses an
Access 95 database.  However, I need to convert the database to Access
97.  I would like to know what needs to be changed in the application to
be compatible with the Access 97 database.
Please reply via email as well as the newsgroup.

Thanks,
Alastair

Man, that was more newsgroups than I've had hot dinners!

Why not just hit say 2 which are relevant in the first instance, & extend
further if you don't get a reply.  'Coz you just put off about anyone who
could reasonably answer.

Anyway, what happened to the ol' method of trying it first & then posting your
problems.

Chris

All you should have to do is make sure that your DAO reference is to DAO
3.5x.
