Inetsoft (Style Reports) Service quality impressions

My company researches a java server-side reporting tool to integrate into
our product, and although Inetsoft Style Reports seems to fit the job best,
their customer relations so far has been disastrous. They do not return
phone calls, send a non-working trial license key,  hang up on a software
evaluator,
we cannot raise anybody of importance there, although we are a very
lucrative customer with possibly hundreds of resale clients, willing to pony
up quite a bit of money upfront.
The management now firmly disqualified Style Reports as tool choice, they
even would go as far is building the whole module from scratch rather then
dealing with them.
I wonder what kind of experiences other people had with Inetsoft, good or
bad, and whether there are any alternatives. We tried Actuate's (former
EnterpriseSoft) Java offering and Jinfonet's JReports, and they have been
ruled out: Actuate is not capable enough,  Jinfonet's is extremely
expensive.
Thanks,

We have had similar problems with Inetsoft too.  Ever since they changed
their pricing policy, we have stopped upgrades and are looking for another
reporting tool vendor.
