Candidate will be responsible for understanding backend
development and front-end presentation of OLAP cubes.
Experienced developer/database architect in the design
and implementation of MS SQL Analysis Services/OLAP cubes
and MDX. Win2000, IIS, Sharepoint Server, ASP, XML ,
Microsoft SQL DBA and data warehousing experience is
desirable. Knowledge of other business intelligence
applications such as Cognos PowerPlay and Microstrategy
may be helpful. Qualifications should include a minimum
of 5 years hands-on experience in application
development, database design, database architecture and
business analytics. Individuals suited for this position
should be capable of demonstrating strong design skills,
particularly as it relates to creating and/or identifying
patterns, their implementations, and building tools to
manage the artifacts of such. Demonstrated experience
working through the full product cycle, from initial
design to final product delivery, is required. Excellent
communication skills are required. Modeling, Writing
code, Developing Applications, Debugging, Using Software
Development Tools, Follow Software Specifications, Write
Software Specifications.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience in software languages,
architecture, protocols, and tools. SQL DBA experience
and experience with data warehousing desirable. Microsoft
SQL Analysis Services/OLAP, MDX, C / C++, Visual Basic,
Visual Studio, Java Perl, XML /XSL, COM / COM+, EJB, ASP,
WMI, Win32 Source / Assembly Debugging, HTTP, ADO, SOAP,
SQL / Stored Procedures, and TCP/IP. A BA/BS or MS degree
in Computer Science or equivalent
